Car parking

At Dunkirk Mill, there is only disabled parking, the rest of the car park being reserved for residents. At Gigg Mill, there is some general parking available.

Buses
Contact Stagecoach for bus numbers and times.

Coaches

For Dunkirk Mill, coaches should use the bus stops on the A46, just outside the Mill. At Gigg Mill, coaches can pull off the road. Coaches may park at Nailsworth Bus Station.

Toilets
At Dunkirk there are 2 unisex toilets (one is suitable for disabled use). There are no toilets at Gigg.

Lunch Break
We can arrange somewhere nearby where packed lunches can be eaten.

First Aid
Each site carries a first aid box.

Access
Dunkirk is fully accessible from the road. There are steps down from the cycle path. Dunkirk and Gigg are approximately 1.5 km apart. Gigg Mill is approached from a narrow footpath and then through the dye plant garden, which has two railway sleeper steps.

We can provide a risk assessment if required, or schools may prefer to prepare their own.
