‘Discover’ is a programme of educational opportunities enabling young people to engage with the textile heritage of the Stroud Valleys. We can help you tailor a programme of activities that will bring together many aspects of the curriculum and fully engage the students.
Activities include:
- Dunkirk Mill Museum visits.
- Gigg Mill Centre visits.
- Resource boxes.
- Walking the Textile Landscape.
- Dyeing workshops.
- Felt making workshops.
- In a Spin: spinning methods, demonstration and interactive session.
- Victorian Families at the Mill: a resource CD + a booklet with notes & suggestions.
